Job Description Part-Time | Fully Remote | Independent Contractor  The International Islamic University of Minnesota (IIUMN) is seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Content Creator to bring our mission and vision to life across digital platforms.  This role is responsible for managing and growing our Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, and Tik Tok, with a focus on producing daily content (posts, reels/videos, and stories) that is engaging, purposeful, and aligned with our values.

The Content Creator will also be responsible for producing a weekly newsletter that keeps our community informed, inspired, and connected.  We are looking for someone who understands how to communicate Islamic knowledge with excellence—highlighting Islamic Studies programs, Qur’an and Ijazah pathways, student experiences, faculty insights, reminders, and reflections that strengthen connection to the deen. Your work will play a key role in attracting prospective students while nurturing and retaining our current community.  

IIUMN Content Creator Application – Assignment Prompt  As part of the application process for the IIUMN Content Creator position, please complete the assignment below. This task is designed to assess your creativity, clarity, and ability to communicate IIUMN’s mission through purposeful Islamic content.
Applications without the required assignment will not be considered.  Assignment Overview  Create three (3) pieces of content for IIUMN, an Islamic university offering online Islamic Studies degree programs, for our upcoming Spring quarter.
