Traveling Construction Superintendent Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Punch List Item Traveling Construction Superintendent to join our construction team. This role involves traveling to various construction sites to oversee and manage punch list items, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage punch list items at various construction sites.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Utilize expertise in commercial construction to oversee projects.
- Coordinate with project management to maintain construction schedules.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures on-site.
- 5+ years as a commercial superintendent.
- Ability to travel with construction projects.
- General knowledge of commercial construction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft-based applications.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with large cannabis facilities, large retail, remodels, and renovations.
- Knowledge of OSHA 30, construction documents, and site construction.
- Experience with supervision and project management.
- Familiarity with shop drawings and construction safety.
The projects are located throughout the Midwest; this is a travel position. You will be required to be on-site Monday through Friday, and remote work is not an option. Typically, no work is completed on the weekends, allowing our teams to return home if they choose. Traveling superintendents will be provided with lodging and a per diem of $45 per day for five days a week.
Mileage from the job site to home can be expensed.
This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
