Konik is partnering with a fully integrated real estate and construction firm to add a Project Manager to their growing team. This award-winning company is known for its collaborative culture, innovative projects, and excellence across design, development, construction, and property management. The Project Manager will play a key role in driving complex design-build projects from concept through completion, ensuring success across schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of design-build and construction projects, from preconstruction and budgeting through closeout and client turnover
- Oversee all project accounting, billing, and Procore budgets
- Develop and maintain project schedules and logistics plans in coordination with field superintendents
- Complete take-offs and conceptual budgets for potential and active projects
- Negotiate and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and other construction-related agreements
- Maintain accuracy in plan reading, estimating, bidding, and cost tracking
- Coordinate with project owners, end-users, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment and quality execution
- Analyze challenges, propose solutions, and drive timely decision-making to maintain progress
- Promote a strong jobsite safety culture and positive working relationships across teams
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects with a general contractor
- Proven success overseeing multiple and complex projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent budgeting, documentation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Multifamily design-build experience strongly preferred
- Ability to travel as required
