You engage with each child’s unique personality and know how to bring out the best in them. You are organized, capable of managing a busy household, reliable, and present. You are passionate about working with kids and bring a strong, grounded presence to the role. Flexibility is important, as our home can be lively and schedules may shift. You stay calm under pressure, adapt easily, and help reinforce structure through playdates and daily routines.

Every day will be a bit different, but our standard schedule every two weeks is as follows:
Week 1 — Mon/Tues (2 kids), Wed/Thurs (3 kids), Fri (5 kids). Week 2 — Mon/Tues (no kids), Wed/Thurs (5 kids), Fri (no kids). School ends daily at 2:45 p.m. with the nanny picking up the children, and on some days the kids are to be picked up at 4:00 p.m. Calm transition home into the afternoon. You’ll support them with chores, homework, and getting them to and from other activities.

This includes offering a light snack and/or preparing an early dinner before pickups. We focus on setting a routine the kids thrive on and participate in. We also have 3 dogs that the children help to care for. Additional duties include assisting with their laundry and helping them get organized for the following day. You should leave the home in better shape than you found it, maintaining a tidy and orderly environment.

On days when there aren’t children in the home, we would love for the nanny to help with global resets of the home.

Someone who is sporty, as the children are into many different sports!

Starting as soon as the right fit is identified on Monday-Friday from 2:45-6 pm. Going until at least the end of the school year with the opportunity to flex into the summer and the following school year.
