Part-Time Daycare Teacher

Overview

We are hiring daycare teachers in downtown Minneapolis! Join the team as an Early Childcare Teacher. Have you worked in a daycare setting, have a teaching degree, or are looking to work with children in a daycare/preschool setting?

The competitive salary ranges from $18 to $20 per hour. Salary is determined by your level of education and experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

• As a Child Care Teacher, you will:
  • Create and lead activities based on observations of the children’s interests and needs
  • Communicate daily with parents. Document and share important milestones in each child’s day
  • Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
• Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred
• At least six months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred

• Schedule:
  
  Tuesday and Thursday, between 7am–7pm (with the option to add more days and hours if needed)

• Essential physical requirements include regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
• Must be able to get up from and down to the floor several times throughout the day
• Ability to react quickly to certain situations and manage emergent situations calmly and safely

Compensation Range: $18-$20 per hour
