What You Do
  • Provides direction and oversight of assigned business function within Enterprise Operations business unit. Leads and executes key business priorities, sets and achieves business performance targets, and delivers a superior experience to both policyholders and producers. Specific areas of leadership are Premium, Disbursement, and Policyholder benefits. You will report to the AVP, Annuity and Life Inforce.
  • Develops and executes department plans to ensure successful coordination of team activities (on and offshore). Achieves performance targets while effectively executing controls and managing risks.
  • Establishes a customer-centric environment and builds successful customer relationships. Demonstrates responsiveness by proactively gathering input and feedback from customers. Drives continuous process improvements to deliver and maintain a high-quality end-to-end customer service experience and achieve overall customer satisfaction targets.
  • Establishes and maintains a solid controls framework through oversight, capability and system ownership, monitoring of processes, and financial controls. Identifies, reports, and escalates risks and implements mitigation strategies. Acts as a the business system owner for designated systems.
  • Leads key change initiatives within assigned business function to support the evolving service strategy. Ensures flexibility, change readiness and adaptability of teams and department to achieve business goals into the future.
  • Builds the skills and develops the people needed to support the service delivery strategy at all levels of the organization. This includes a holistic people and employee engagement strategy to attract and retain talent, and leverage of a comprehensive workforce planning model to deliver results and efficiencies.
  • Establishes strong and successful working relationship with peers, senior Operations leaders, key business partners, and vendors to deliver a high-quality end-to-end customer experience aligned with the service strategy and company-wide priorities.
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
What You Bring
  • 6+ years of experience required:
    Financial, insurance and/or operations; proven successful strategic leadership, business acumen, relationship and customer service skills.
  • Four year degree required:
    Business or related field
  • Licensing/Certification/Other:
    Securities license may be required or preferred depending on direct or indirect involvement with securities-related activities. If required or permitted, the deadline to obtain is 90 days from the date of securities-related activities commence.
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.

Job posting range: $120,000 - $180,500

Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees.

Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
