The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, targeted purchased inventory levels, tariff/duties tracking and overall supplier evaluations, and overseeing the procurement of goods and services to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. This role plays a critical part in optimizing the supply chain and supporting business objectives through strategic vendor management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and quality improvements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure a competitive and reliable supply base.
Purchasing Management
  • Oversee day-to-day purchasing activities, including issuing purchase orders and managing inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for supplier performance, cost savings, and compliance
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, and service.
Cost Optimization & Analysis
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and cost structures to identify opportunities for savings.
  • Prepare and present sourcing reports and KPIs to leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and product development teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
  • Support new product launches by ensuring timely procurement of materials.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or procurement management.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of global sourcing practices and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
