Director, Compensation Strategies
Join KPMG US as a Director, Compensation to drive strategy for the Tax business within our Talent & Culture organization. KPMG is known for its inclusive culture that encourages individual development and rewards innovative excellence.
Responsibilities- Lead the compensation strategy for KPMG's Tax business and serve as the primary liaison to Tax leadership.
- Act as an internal liaison and consultant on daily administration, special projects, and the year‑end compensation cycle.
- Collaborate with Tax Human Resources and Finance leadership to analyze complex problems and provide strategic or tactical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to function leadership, interpret market survey results, and establish funding requirements for pay programs.
- Guide compensation work streams, steering committees, and ad‑hoc projects throughout the year.
- Research new compensation approaches and propose innovative ideas for consideration.
- Uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility.
- Minimum 12 years of recent, broad-based compensation experience in a business or financial services consulting environment or another high‑growth industry.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Strong PC skills, including Excel, Access, or other database experience;
People Soft exposure is a plus. - Solid analytical, organizational, project‑management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to think strategically and link action plans to critical business priorities.
- Excellent multi‑tasking ability, strong oral and written communication skills.
