Estimator​/Sales Support - Manufacturing Industry

Base pay range

$23.00/hr - $25.00/hr

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused Sales Associate / Estimator to join our team. In this role, you'll analyze blueprints, specifications, and RFQs to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for custom manufacturing orders. You will collaborate closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to support sales opportunities, ensure accurate pricing, and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Review customer RFQs, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Calculate material, labor, and time requirements to determine pricing.
• Identify and work with vendors or subcontractors to ensure cost‑effective sourcing.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to clarify requirements and resolve questions.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to support sales volumes and margin objectives.
• Review purchase orders, re‑price existing jobs when necessary, and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Follow established procedures, work instructions, and documentation standards.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

• 2-4 years of experience estimating material and labor costs.
• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Experience in metal stamping or fabrication strongly preferred.
• Strong math skills, including decimals, fractions, and metric conversions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, purchase orders, and procedure manuals.
• Solid customer service or sales background.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Location: Minneapolis, MN
• Type: Temp-to-hire
• Pay: $23-25/hr.
