Responsible for the development, execution, and documentation of quality assurance testing for the Human Resources (HR) business groups. Participates in the overall Business Line Quality Assurance (BLQA) Program strategy, which addresses operational and compliance risks, as well as policy requirements. Partners with HR leaders and colleagues in all three Lines of Defense (IE. first/second/third line) to oversee the successful creation, implementation, and maintenance of an effective BLQA function.
The candidate will coordinate, monitor, test and manage the BLQA program in compliance with the enterprise policies and requirements. Candidate will work independently and report directly to the BLQA HR Lead Manager.
Responsibilities related to the BLQA program include but not limited to:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically has seven or more years of experience in an applicable risk management environment
- Applicable certifications
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Expertise in testing, BLQA in a financial services setting
- Advanced knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects, and people
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task with many projects and deadlines
- Strong project management, issue management, and problem resolution skills
- Strong audit and/or process review experience
- Ability to lead team through a project/initiative and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written to all levels of personnel
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to lead through conflict resolution
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Human Resources operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls is a bonus
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact Human Resources is a plus
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
