Position: SENIOR CONSULTANT

Senior Consultants are able to leverage their experience to deliver discrete projects with minimal supervision. They demonstrate clear understanding of the client's business issues, detailing and tailoring consulting solutions to generate maximum value through idea generation and engagement experience. The Senior Consultant must achieve high personal billability.

Overview:
Senior Consultants deliver discrete projects with minimal supervision, align with client business issues, and generate value through tailored consulting solutions and engagement experience. The Senior Consultant is expected to maintain high personal billability.

Responsibilities
  • Consulting Execution — act as an ambassador for the Wipro tenets and values; secure strong client feedback; coordinate teams of consultants (or equivalents) to assure quality of deliverables; be flexible in approach and coordinate resources with diverse expertise; deliver with a decisive, can-do attitude and demonstrate both hard and soft skills; coach, mentor and motivate team and client staff; engage effectively with clients and extract information (e.g., facilitation and communication skills);

    ensure project administration is up to date (e.g., SoW, tagging).
  • Business Development — maintain high levels of individual utilization; align with personal extension permissions with clients; develop a network of client relationships and provide insights to solve client business problems; lead smaller meetings with sales teams; lead proposal development with sales teams as appropriate; anchor market research in the chosen area; identify opportunities and elevate them to practice leadership.
  • Thought Leadership — develop insights into industry and technology trends; share with the wider practice; contribute to team thought leadership; document assignment outcomes (and where appropriate, case studies); contribute to practice initiatives.
  • Contribution to Practice/Wipro — complete Wipro administration (timesheets, appraisals, expenses) on time; contribute to internal initiatives; improve engagements using tools, methods, assets, IP in the knowledge management platform; organize IP and knowledge assets for the central repository; collaborate with other consulting and delivery teams; propose new service offerings and demonstrate value; provide training and reusable artifacts; engage with SMEs for downstream requirements;

    participate in practice development ideas; share knowledge within the team and communities of interest.
Deliver and Strategic Objectives
  • Deliver — drive growth in consulting revenues; support business performance against quarterly/annual targets; improve quality of delivery in transformation engagements; measure: % of Personal Utilisation Achievement (against target); number of RFI/RFP responses supported; number of transformation engagements delivered; number of referenceable clients/testimonials; average CSAT/PCSAT across projects.
  • Enable impact — generate downstream opportunities for GCG and larger Wipro; support front-end consulting engagements, deal pursuit, and client relationships; grow market positioning and thought leadership; contribute to white papers, POVs, and assets; create and contribute to repeatable IP, frameworks & methods.
  • Provide consulting leadership to accounts — grow client relationships and the consulting portfolio; support account leads to expand consulting services; track number and value of deals.
  • Grow the consulting talent — develop skills and capabilities across new industries, themes, technologies, and frameworks; minimum 32 hours of training per year (online and/or classroom); build the consulting community through collaboration and knowledge management.
  • Experience — 5-8 years of relevant experience.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation depends on factors including geographical location, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro's standard benefits (medical and dental, disability insurance, paid time off, and other leave options).
