OverviewThe Program Manager, Strategic Sourcing and Contracts, plays a key role in strengthening how Endeavor Air partners with suppliers and manages enterprise contracts. This role focuses on translating business needs into effective sourcing and contracting strategies that balance cost, risk, and performance, while supporting the company’s operational and financial goals. Working cross‑functionally and in close partnership with Delta Supply Chain Management, this position brings structure, insight, and discipline to supplier decision‑making across the organization.
What You will Do:- Shape and execute strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives that support Endeavor Air’s financial, operational, and long‑term business objectives.
- Serve as a key enterprise partner and primary point of contact, collaborating across business units and with Delta Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Legal.
- Drive disciplined contract governance, risk management, and continuous improvement across supplier relationships and procurement processes.
- A strategic, analytical professional with experience in sourcing, contracting, finance, or logistics.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence across functions and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- A disciplined, results‑oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and practical execution.
- Strategic Sourcing Leadership
- Partner with business unit leaders to build and execute sourcing strategies that deliver optimal operational and financial outcomes.
- Align sourcing decisions with the company’s financial plan and long‑term objectives, including measurable results such as cost savings, efficiency gains, and compliance with financial targets.
- Primary Point of Contact
- Serve as the first point of contact for business units and Delta Supply Chain on all supply chain management matters.
- Facilitate coordination between internal teams and Delta SCM/Legal during sourcing and contracting efforts to ensure timely execution and adherence to compliance metrics.
- Contract Management
- Maintain a consolidated view of key supplier agreements, contract milestone dates, and obligations.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and structured processes for contract approvals.
- Risk Assessment
- Evaluate supply chains for risks to business continuity and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor contractual incentives and non‑compliance issues; elevate as needed.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Communicate sourcing requirements to Delta SCM in advance to ensure adequate resources.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Tech Ops to ensure alignment on sourcing and contracting decisions, driving measurable outcomes such as cost optimization and process efficiency.
- Policy & Process Development
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures, including approval hierarchies, spend thresholds, and compliance guidelines.
