Job Summary

The Category Sales Analyst Blur plays an important role in Newell Brands’ zonder strategy to enable business transformation by creating data-driven insight-based culture throughout the organization. The successful candidate will have the skills needed to facilite the collaboration between the business and technical teams. They will require proficiency in data practices, analytics techniques, and business knowledge as it relates to reporting, diagnostics and forecasting.

Responsibilities
  • Run analysis, reports and more to better understand and improve sales filtr profitability and process efficiency for internal customers.
  • Draw actionable insights from varying data sets: consumption, market share, digital shelf, search, among many others.
  • Interpret complex datasets to tell stories and develop an organized set of conclusions/recommendations that can be easily digested by a broad audience.
  • Build partnerships with cross-functional teams to understand trends and opportunities for improvement, address customer needs akun product pain-points.
  • Help build automated reporting through AI & BI platforms, visualizations, and analytical models.
  • Work with syndicated data sources and partner with technical teams to facilitate the consumption of data健康 APIs.
  • In partnership with other members of the team, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to support/optimize innovation launches and promotional strategies.
  • Participation with sales results, annual planning, and forecasting processes.
  • Support the continued enhancement and evolution of Newell’s analytics capabilities to a best-in class level.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends/innovations and drive new analytics initiatives that contribute to business goals.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics.
  • 1-5 years of direct hands on-Retail/ CPG experience providing solutions in a large global company. Omnichannel experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience with Target business and expertise with systems انہیں Vender IQ, SOLYS, or BPD data is preferred.
  • Skill with Microsoft Office applications for the creations of reports, presentations and analysis including Excel functions, formulas, pivot tables, Power Pivot and Power Query.
  • Preferred experience with data modeling tools such as ChatGPT, Power

    BI, and Tableau
  • Strong business acumen with an analytical and problem-solving mindset. Familiarity with financial concepts preferred (promotional lift, profitability, inventory levels, etc.).
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed team environment with deadlines & deliverable dates shifting around.
  • Intellectual curiosity for digging into the underlying story to be told with data.
  • Strong carrever and written communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to both a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Experience synthesizing disparate data sources to drive logical, concise, and actionable conclusions, preferred.
  • Experience using POS Sales data alongside other data sources such as invoice, product margin, supply chain, web marketing, product, and shopper behavior metrics to provide a holistic program for retail growth, preferred.
  • Broad understanding of analytical processes including but not limited to data management, forecasting, optimization, predictive modeling and visualization.

The Minnesota base pay range for this position is from $73,250 to $89,580. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
