What you’ll do

As the Chief of Staff at Niron Magnetics, you will serve as a key advisor and strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing critical support in strategic decision‑making, operational execution, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will be a key member of the team, aiding in the execution of the company's vision, goals, and initiatives.

This role will also be a financial and strategic partner in shaping the company’s growth and fundraising execution. You will play a central role in building and maintaining the financial models, analytical frameworks, and decision tools that support how Niron allocates capital, structures expansion, engages investors, and prepares for its next major institutional fundraising and eventual IPO.

You will operate at the center of executive workflows and decision‑making, providing analytical leadership and structured execution support to help the leadership team scale Niron from a breakthrough materials company into a global advanced manufacturing platform.

This role will report to the Director of Strategy & Strategic Finance.

Key Responsibilities Executive Leadership Support & Strategic Planning
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team, supporting priority initiatives, decision making, and cross‑functional alignment
  • Structure ambiguous problems into clear analyses, recommendations, and action plans
  • Prepare leadership for key internal and external moments, including executive and board meetings
Fundraising and Investor Support
  • Support private market fundraising and long‑term IPO readiness through investor‑grade financial modeling, diligence coordination, and data‑room readiness
  • Lead preparation of investor materials, financial narratives, and executive talking points
  • Support investor and stakeholder coordination and follow‑through
Financial Modeling and Decision Support
  • Owns Niron’s financial models (Top Co and Plant‑level), including forecasting, valuation, dilution, and scenario analyses
  • Conduct market, competitive, and industry analysis to inform financial modeling and benchmarks
  • Support ad‑hoc analytical requests from Niron functional groups as needed
Cross‑Functional Program Leadership & Execution
  • Lead high‑impact cross‑functional initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring clear milestones and accountability
  • Identify execution bottlenecks and implement systems and processes to improve speed and clarity
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or related field
  • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or related field preferred
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a high‑growth start‑up environment
  • World‑class executive communication (verbal & written) and time management
  • Excellent financial acumen including three‑statement and valuation modelling
  • Superuser with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
