Job SummaryThe Senior Proposal Writer / Senior RFP Writer is responsible for supporting business development and retention by responding to questionnaires from the sales or consultant relations teams while maintaining a high standard of communication and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a project manager for assigned questionnaires and proposals, delivering high‑quality work within guidelines and by deadline.
- Project management (60%): gather information from multiple sources across the firm and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs and sales representatives.
- Editing and writing (10%): adjust standard proposal verbiage, draft new content, and edit SME or sales content for clarity, narrative consistency, brand standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Content expert (10%): own a specific content area within the RFP team, managing relationships with related SMEs and capability specialists.
- Assist the team in maintaining the content library within the Rocket Docs application (10%).
- Proactively support teammates and partners as a subject matter expert when capacity is constrained (10%).
- Support process‑improvement projects and other responsibilities as assigned (10%).
- Must have 10+ years of asset management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of proposal management experience within asset management.
- Exceptional English language skills in editing, writing, and verbal communications.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: CFA, Fixed‑Income and Alternatives proposal‑management experience.
