About the Role:
The #1 After Market Automotive Shop in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area is growing and hiring skilled, reliable A-Level Technicians who can handle a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. You’re confident with brakes, suspension, HVAC, engine performance, and drivability—but still learning when it comes to the most complex diagnostics. This is a Growth Opportunity! Responsibilities- Accurately diagnose advanced mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform complex repairs, including engine, transmission, and diagnostic-intensive jobs.
- Use scan tools, scopes, and technical databases to troubleshoot efficiently.
- Collaborate with other techs to mentor and support their development.
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors about findings and recommendations.
- Prioritize safety, transparency, and quality.
- Document inspections and repairs through our Digital Vehicle Inspection process.
- Stay current with training and certification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- 5+ years of automotive repair experience - Production shown.
- Deep diagnostic and repair expertise across multiple systems and makes.
- High proficiency with diagnostic equipment and software (specifically being competent with labscope and pressure transducer testing).
- ASE certifications or equivalent experience.
- Own a complete set of tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- ASE certificate.
- Experience with digital inspection and shop management systems.
- A1-A8 or other advanced ASE certification.
- Leadership or mentorship experience.
- Pay: $100,000 - $140,000.
- 3% contribution to 401(k) after 12 months.
