Position Description

The High School 12-Month Administrative Professional acts as a liaison for students, parents, and the community, conducting business with the high school staff. The 12-month administrative professional assumes and executes the duties and responsibilities of the position assigned by the supervising administrators. The 12-month Administrative Professional will collaboratively develop inter‑office operating procedures and provide year‑round secretarial support necessary to the administration of the direct reports.

This is an extremely hands‑on position that will require someone with the skills, energy, and creativity to ensure that the office runs smoothly despite regular interruptions. The successful candidate will be required to tactfully take charge of tasks to ensure successful completion. This includes the direct management of the ALC program and assistance to the assistant principals.

Qualifications
  • Must have a HS diploma or GED and 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Must have proven experience interacting positively with the public.
  • Must have the ability to handle more than one project/task at a time while maintaining a positive professional demeanor despite numerous interruptions.
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate, both verbal and written, in a clear, concise professional manner.
  • Must be computer proficient with general office productivity tools.
  • Must be comfortable working with students, adults and staff in a collaborative and engaged environment.
