As an Accounting Intern
, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to real projects and day‑to‑day operations that impact the entire organization. From coordinating interviews and onboarding new team members to improving training materials and supporting benefits processes, no two days will be the same. • Process and code Accounts Payable invoices, ensuring accurate general ledger classification and timely vendor payments.
• Perform corporate credit card reconciliations, reviewing transactions for accuracy along with proper documentation, and policy compliance.
• Assist in maintaining and tracking contract budgets, monitoring spending against approved funding levels.
• Calculate and analyze budget running rates to forecast spending trends and identify potential and notable trends.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
• Support data analysis in Excel (pivot tables, reconciliations, variance tracking) to improve financial reporting accuracy.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and audit trails in accordance with internal control policies.

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Familiarity with Accounting Concepts & Systems
• Amazing Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Leadership abilities and initiative to take on projects
• Attention to detail along with analytical thinking
• Strong organizational/communication skills
• Friendly, approachable personality with the ability to build positive relationships
