Summary of Core Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly trust financial statements and net worth statements for individuals
- Coordinate with Tax Manager to prepare quarterly tax estimates for trusts, individuals and select entities
- Compile tax work papers and income estimates for our external accounting firms
- Assist with filing and processing Federal and state tax returns and tax payments for investment and family entities, trusts, and individuals
- Coordinate and facilitate payments for the organization and family members, including reporting and reconciling payables and receivables
- Track and document trust administration items, including assisting with updates to supporting legal files and tracking of all trust provisions
- Assist Accounting Manager with monthly accounting requirements for Olympus Ventures, reconcile intercompany balances with responsible colleagues on monthly/quarterly basis
- Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow statements for individuals
- Oversee coordination of insurance policy documentation and premium payment schedules
- Reconcile daily cash transactions and assist with AP runs
- Assist with the treasury process and initiate transfers and wires for family office purposes
- Identify and implement process improvements while ensuring strong internal controls are maintained
- Complete ad hoc projects as requested to assist in the organization’s overall success
- Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- 2-4+ years of related experience.
- CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team-oriented, with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with strong experience in Excel.
- Demonstrates a professional presence.
- General ledger experience a plus with experience in MRI, Sage Intacct, or Quickbooks

$75,000 - $90,000 annually
