Sr. Accountant

Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Golden Valley, Minnesota, this role involves providing high-level accounting services to multiple clients, primarily utilizing Quick Books Online. Responsibilities:

- Manage month-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.

- Prepare and post journal entries to reflect business transactions.

- Perform detailed account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.

- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial statements and bank records.

- Utilize Quick Books Online to manage client accounts and maintain financial records.

- Collaborate with clients to address accounting needs and provide tailored solutions.

- Generate financial reports and analyses to support business decision-making.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Assist with other accounting tasks as required to support client operations.

Requirements - Proven experience in month-end close procedures and financial reporting.

- Strong understanding of general ledger maintenance and reconciliation.

- Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries.

- Demonstrated ability to perform account and bank reconciliations accurately.

- Expertise in Quick Books, particularly Quick Books Online.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client accounts.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
