, delivering essential meal services that positively impact the communities and facilities we serve.

We’re looking for a self-driven and solutions-oriented Lead Accountant to join our fast-paced and evolving accounting organization. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant financial records by entering and reconciling transactions, managing multiple company accounts, and preparing detailed schedules for internal and external audits. You’ll also assist with a variety of reporting and administrative tasks as we continue to streamline and enhance our processes.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Enter and manage financial data within accounting systems, including posting general ledger and journal entries, verifying the accuracy of daily transactions across multiple entities, and owning full financial statements, budgets, and reporting responsibilities.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and key income statement accounts.
  • Manage and reconcile cash balances to ensure accurate financial reporting and liquidity oversight.
  • Process and oversee accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoice payments in accordance with company policies.
  • Record month-end accruals and ensure proper allocation of transactions to the correct legal entities.
  • Oversee compliance with company policies and procedures for assigned areas; identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements.
  • Support internal teams with ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and information requests.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of statutory audits.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by management.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently while managing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • ERP experience (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, SAP)
  • Knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, month-end close, internal controls, and audit processes
  • Experience supporting multiple locations and and remote teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical accounting skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities
Where you'll be working:

You will work onsite at our regional Hub office in Minnesota opening in 2026.

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
