Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting

We're partnering with a highly complex, R&D-driven organization that's building out senior leadership within revenue accounting. This Senior Manager role owns ASC 606 end-to-end, including royalties, commissions, and intercompany revenue, and leads a team with room to grow—within a group largely made up of former public accounting professionals who wanted to apply their technical depth more strategically. The role is viewed as a true leadership seat with strong internal mobility, not just a technical one.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Oversee monthly close activities related to revenue
• Manage complex revenue recognition in accordance with applicable standards
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate contracts and provide guidance
• Establish and maintain revenue-related internal controls and accounting policies
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and compliance reporting
• Champion process improvement and automation initiatives across the function
• Monitor evolving accounting standards and implement best practices accordingly

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
• CPA

• Salary Range: $150,000–$160,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.

This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
