Staff Accountant

A PE-backed manufacturing company is adding to their small but mighty accounting team and seeking a hands-on Accountant to own full general ledger responsibilities. This role offers direct exposure to leadership and the opportunity to partner cross-functionally with operations while driving process improvements in a growing environment. • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations per accounting standards
• Support external audit and financial reporting requirements
• Identify process improvements and maintain internal controls documentation
• Research and resolve account discrepancies and variances
• Support month-end close activities
• Compile and distribute various financial reporting packages
• Execute routine daily and weekly accounting tasks
• Perform additional duties as needed

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• 2+ years of public accounting audit experience or industry GL experience

• Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.

This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
