Project Accountant

We’re seeking an experienced Project Accountant to support full‑cycle subcontract and job cost accounting across multiple construction projects. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate job costing, timely financial reporting, and strong collaboration with Project Managers to keep projects running smoothly.

• Process subcontractor pay applications, vendor invoices, and credit card purchases
• Maintain accurate job cost records and perform routine reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements, over/under‑billing schedules, and tax filings
• Manage cash balances, payments, and bank reconciliations
• Partner closely with Project Managers to review job costs and support forecasting
• Assist with audits, financial draws, and required vendor documentation

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of accounting experience; construction industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems
• Exposure to Yardi and Procore highly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
