Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This long-term contract position offers the chance to work in a supportive and flexible environment while contributing to the financial operations of a growing business. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Quick Books and possess strong organizational skills to manage accounting tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness.

- Perform payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

- Conduct month-end reporting and reconcile bank statements.

- Utilize Quick Books to maintain financial records and generate reports.

- Oversee general bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.

- Identify discrepancies in financial records and resolve them effectively.

- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for audits and reviews.

- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial workflows.

- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data.

Requirements - Proficiency in Quick Books with demonstrated experience.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

- Familiarity with month-end reporting and bank reconciliation procedures.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

- Previous experience in full charge bookkeeping or a similar role.
