Senior Accountant

Arctic Cat is the most iconic name in powersports, and a leading manufacturer of snowmobiles, side-by-sides and all-terrain vehicles. We are currently hiring a Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced team. This is a full-time position for someone based in the Twin Cities metro or St. Cloud, MN. This is a hybrid position which may require time onsite, as needed, in St.

Cloud and Thief River Falls, MN.

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will assist in many different processes within the Accounting & Finance department, both within the month‑end closing cycle and regular daily and monthly processes.

• Month-end closing duties:
  Closing and opening monthly accounting periods in SAP; reconcile bank accounts of varying complexity; analyze and prepare adjusting entries for various accruals, payables, prepaid expenses and other receivables; complete account reconciliations in a timely manner each month
• Manage weekly payroll funding with Paylocity, Fidelity and Optum
• Prepare monthly GST/HST information for tax reporting
• Accounts Payable (assisting existing staff):
  Audit and process employee expense reports through Concur system; serve as backup in some facets of AP in the absence of primary staff.
• Special projects and other accounting duties as appropriate

• 5 or more years’ previous experience working in an accounting or finance position
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 4‑year program in Accounting, Finance or related
• Strong communicator with both internal stakeholders and external customers
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently yet collaboratively
• Problem solving ability

• SAP or similar ERP experience is a plus but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong working knowledge in other Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
