Controller, Accounting, Accounting Manager

Pay Range

Bell & Associates, Inc. provided pay range: $/yr - $/yr.

Assist the CFO in overseeing the company’s accounting, financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial results.

Financial Close & General Ledger Management

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• Prepare and review and make necessary edits to journal entries, accruals, allocations, assessments
• Prepare internal monthly reporting packages and related schedules
• Analyze results and provide insights to business partners

Internal Controls, Compliance & Audit Support

• Coordinate internal and external audit activities
• Maintain documentation and testing support
• Monitor internal controls and process compliance

Leadership, Team Development & Cross-Functional Support

• Monitor, mentor, coach, and support AP, AR and accounting team
• Develop team capabilities, technical skills, and organizational effectiveness
• Support onboarding, training, and career development on the accounting team

Special Projects & Technical Accounting

• Support M&A, system enhancements, and policy development
• Prepare technical accounting research as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
• CPA highly preferred
• 8+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and sound ethical judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear recommendations
• Collaborative, responsive, and team-oriented
