Charles Joy Staffing's is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager. This position is with a large, international company, with a great reputation for retaining high performers, and advancing deserving employees to the next level!

Senior Accounting Manager

Core Responsibilities:

• Leads consolidations efforts for a recently acquired company
• Identification of designs improvements, planning and forecasting, reconciliations, and currency exchange analytics.
• Lead monthly close activities over multiple ledgers and divisions
• Leads integration of new acquisitions including work for reporting requirements, and training on reporting processes
• Manages annual restatement and reporting process with operating companies
• Creation of financial statements and reports, including regional financial statements
• Optimize the accounting and reporting processes including driving standardization, automation and process improvement in accounting practices and development of insightful monthly reporting on a global level
• Works closely with leaders in areas of business outside accounting and finance
• Prepares ad hoc financial reports in a timely and accurate manner for Finance leadership.
• Staying up to date of changes in SEC, US GAAP, and SOX requirements.
• Support sales and property tax processes
• Leads evaluating and implementing changes to improve processes within the division.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• Successful applicants will have a CPA
• Seven to ten years total or more required. Internships not included.
• At least three years in public accounting with publicly traded, international clients
