This position plays an entry‑level role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our customers’ vehicles. Duties include vehicle body repairs, painting, structural work, welding, cabinet making, fabrication, upholstery, electrical harness assembly, disassembly, and parts installation. This entry‑level role requires basic technical skills, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Job SummaryThe role is responsible for a wide variety of vehicle repair and manufacturing tasks, ensuring that all work meets manufacturer and industry specifications and delivers high‑quality service to clients.
Responsibilities Vehicle Body RepairPerform basic bodywork and repair tasks on vehicles, including dent repairs, scratch removal, and major structural repairs. Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest quality standards, meeting manufacturer and industry specifications.
Painting and RefinishingAssist in preparing surfaces for priming/painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers. Assist in the application of paint and clear coat with precision, ensuring accurate and appropriate finishes.
Vehicle Manufacturing, Assembly and DisassemblyAssist in performing complex assembly and disassembly tasks on a variety of vehicles, including classic cars, modern automobiles, and specialty vehicles. Disassemble, meticulously document the process, and organize parts for repair or restoration.
Parts Replacement and InstallationPerform the removal and replacement of damaged vehicle parts such as panels, fenders, bumpers, and lights. Ensure precise alignment and fitment of new parts and guide the team in this process.
tubuh ReworkPerform rework to address defects found during Quality Control and other inspections.
Parts Storage and PackingDisassemble, identify, tag, pack, and store parts safely to prevent damage or loss. Retrieve parts from storage and reuse as needed.
Sub‑AssembliesAssemble and manufacture various components including upholstery, vacuum forming, wiring harnesses, switch panels, and other components.
Refurbishment and UpfitAssist in diagnosing and repairing ambulances, support vehicles, and other GMR equipment. Assist in repairing and exchanging parts such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Assist ambulance manufacturing at all levels and in all areas, including upfitting vehicles.
Quality AssuranceAssist the Quality Control Department in conducting thorough quality checks and reviews to ensure that all repairs, refinishing, assembly, and disassembly meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
Compliance and SafetyEnsure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Physical Requirements- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 75 pounds.
- Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
- Comfort working in various weather conditions.
- Standing, bending, climbing, and reaching for extended periods.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Automotive Trade School or other related certifications and degrees preferred.
- ASE, EVT, AWS, I‑CAR preferred.
