This role will be responsible for complex supply chain functions, including procurement, production planning, and inventory management. This role will work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities- Parts and Goods Procurement: Operate the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and other external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain supply chain metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Effectively resolve any supply chain issues, such as delivery delays, quality issues, and inventory discrepancies.
- Inventory Control and Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and develop supply plans to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Assist in the production planning process, including capacity planning and scheduling.
- Stock Shelves, perform inventory, delivery parts.
- Conduct Inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Shipping and Receiving: Communicate with delivery drivers, monitor gate access to the facility, and operate forklift and other equipment as needed.
- Parts and Product Inspections: Inspect delivered, returned, and used parts and products to verify compliance. Collaborate with the team to identify and document deviations, defects, or non-conformities.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet or exceed established quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Testing and Measurement: Perform basic tests, measurements, and evaluations of incoming products.
- Documentation and Reporting: Provide accurate records and assist in implementing and maintaining supply chain metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and cross-functional departments to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Communicate inspection findings and quality issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in managing and resolving any supply chain issues, such as delivery delays, quality issues, and inventory discrepancies.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and optimizing production processes. Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Assist in implementing and maintaining supply chain metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Report, correct and address any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Work Instructions: Assist in performing pre-production inspections, Bill of Materials and Work Instruction development and updating.
- Resource Assistance: Assist in the allocation of resources, including equipment, tools, and materials, to ensure efficient and effective operations. Work with all levels of leadership to plan for future needs and projects.
- Budget Accountability: Assist in the department budget process including monthly reviews, yearly budget development, capital requests. Maintain department within budget.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Other Duties: As assigned.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
- Three (3) years of related experience.
- Certified Planning and Inventory Management, Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified Logistics and Distribution.
Ability to lift and handle heavy objects (up to 75 pounds). Manual dexterity for handling small parts and components. Comfort working in various weather conditions. Extended periods of standing, bending, and reaching.
