Job DescriptionOur client, a global supplier of precision motion control and avionics solutions serving military, commercial, and general aviation markets, is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for their Mineral Wells, TX facility about an hour West of the Fort Worth metro area. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for delivering operational performance targets by providing technical expertise and hands‑on support for the assembly, testing, and inspection of aerospace products to ensure conformance with engineering design data.
This role has a direct impact on manufacturing performance and product quality and supports multiple production lines within a high-reliability manufacturing environment.
This position collaborates closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to resolve complex production issues, improve manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop tooling, fabrication aids, jigs, and fixtures to support assembly operations.
- Provide engineering support for two or more production lines.
- Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions, assembly guides, and visual aids.
- Develop and support software and instructions for automated and test equipment.
- Investigate and resolve complex manufacturing issues encountered during the production of parts and assemblies.
- Provide technical alternatives and coordinate solutions involving tooling, inspection, engineering, materials, and manufacturing teams.
- Document and analyze manufacturing problems to ensure traceability of faults, assemblies, and serial numbers for trend analysis and corrective action.
- Collaborate with design engineering to recommend product or process modifications that improve producibility and productivity.
- Represent Operations on Material Review Board (MRB) investigations and dispositions.
- Partner with operations teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production challenges.
- Manage multiple priorities across a wide range of responsibilities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, cost, and schedule performance, including lean manufacturing initiatives.
- This role is onsite and supports a structured production schedule in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Typically 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or operations support role within an industrial or aerospace environment.
Technical Skills
- Experience working with engineering drawings, parts lists, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, test, industrial, electrical, and/or mechanical engineering principles.
- Knowledge of programming languages and interfaces used for automated test systems.
- Ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, volume, and circumference as applied to manufacturing and inspection.
- Ability to identify and correct errors in theory, design, and practical application.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computer-aided design (CAD) tools; PCB design experience preferred.
- Strong background in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools is highly desirable.
Professional Skills
- Strong communication skills to instruct manufacturing personnel, collaborate with design engineering, and interface with cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively across varied responsibilities.
- Experience participating in Material Review Board (MRB) processes and manufacturing investigations preferred.

- No security clearance required.
