About the Role
We're looking for an experienced plumber to join the Facilities team at Butlin's. As a member of the Facilities team, you will proactively support the Facilities leadership team in all operational aspects of resort plumbing. This role supports the entire resort and will require you to work with internal and external service providers. The work will also involve planned and unplanned work across the estate.
DescriptionAs a plumber you will carry out planned and unplanned works to current legislative standards, plan and evaluate repairs, replacement parts, inventory and innovation. Relevant tools and equipment are provided. Typical working hours cover five days over a seven‑shift pattern that includes weekends and evenings hours weekly.
About YouYou should be able to demonstrate experience in a maintenance environment within a plumbing specialism. A current recognised qualification as a skilled plumber/engineer with formal electrical qualification would be an advantage (Domestic Installer, C+G or equivalent, hot water storage system, unvented G3, driving licence) and will also be required. You should have the ability to prioritise work, work to deadlines and have working knowledge of relevant regulations and H&S procedures.
Good communication skills, pride in detailed record keeping, professional and positive approach, ability to work both as part of a team and individually.
