As a new PRN OB/GYN Sonographer at Minden Medical Center, you can expect a fulfilling day‑to‑day experience focused on providing top‑quality imaging services to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive ultrasounds, ensuring accurate measurements and assessments, and documenting findings clearly. You will collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide essential information for patient care.

The expected schedule is every Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with additional hours as needed, providing the flexibility to adapt to the demands of the department. Each day will involve engaging with patients, explaining procedures to them with empathy, and ensuring their comfort throughout the imaging process. To thrive as a PRN OB/GYN Sonographer at Minden Medical Center, certain skills and qualifications are essential. A minimum of two years of experience working as a Sonographer in a hospital or physician's office is required, providing the foundation for delivering high‑quality imaging services. ARDMS certification or eligibility is also crucial, demonstrating your expertise in ultrasound technology and quality assurance practices.
