Operating Room Registered Nurse - Day Shift Location Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:00). Must be available for on-call duty, requiring 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month.

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be required to float between units based on patient needs. The position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and support staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Current valid RN license in the state of Oregon.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• CNOR certification is a plus.
