WhatYou Will Do
- Serve as a strategic partner and primary point of contact for employees, addressing questions and concerns, and advising on solutions.
- Independently manage new hire orientation/onboarding process and associated file creation and data entry, while continuously enhancing the process for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, submitting reports, addressing questions, supporting audits, and serving as liaison with benefits providers. Analyze benefits trends, providing recommendations to improve benefits offerings.
- Develop and maintain all human resources systems, records and employee transactions including hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations. Ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
- Facilitate stay interviews and new hire check-ins; analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain market compensation data, matching positions to roles in market salary platform, and analyzing the data to accurately assess market salary rates.
- Support the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Provide guidance to employees on company policies.
- Plan and implement training initiatives, professional development opportunities, employee engagement activities, and special events and functions.
- Respond to requests for Verification of Employment, Unemployment Claims and other inquiries in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the administration of HR programs, policies, and procedures, offering recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and legal compliance.
- Facilitate separations and exit interviews as needed.
- Support employee complaint response and investigations.
- Assist in coordinating company-wide human resources functions, including but not limited to, employee relations, compensation, training and development, performance management, and special projects.
- Actively participate in the performance management process, providing guidance to management regarding employee-related performance/behavior issues.
- Identify and research HR-related issues – contributing information, analysis, insights, and recommendations to support management decision-making.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning employment and employee relations.
- Contribute to team results by assisting with any HR tasks and/or projects as necessary.
- Adhere to the PRIME Safety Program, complying with safety regulations, procedures and safe work practices.
- Maintain a physical presence onsite and provide assistance to specific groups, managers and project management teams as needed.
- Performs other duties as requested; duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking and problem-solving/judgment skills.
- Must possess mature judgment and skill in dealing with employees while maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and practices, employment law, recruitment and employment practices, compensation and benefits programs.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to effectively, professionally and diplomatically interface at all levels…
