Description
Emergency Technician at Providence Milwaukie Hospital is a per diem part time position working weekdays and weekends on a variable shift.
Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

Required Qualifications- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) – annually upon hire.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Patient care or clinical experience preferred.
- Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.
- Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate upon hire.
