CT Technologist *Per Diem

Overview

CT Technologist performs CT examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment. Takes into account individual patients' special or age-related needs and uses knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment to produce optimal images.

Position: CT Technologist at Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR. Schedule:
Per Diem/Variable Shift.

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders using appropriate imaging techniques and equipment.
• Assess patient needs (special or age-related considerations) and adjust imaging plans to produce optimal images.
• Utilize knowledge and judgment to determine imaging factors and techniques appropriate for each patient.

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board
• Upon hire:
  National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or
• Upon hire:
  National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Within 1 year of hire:
  National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or
• Within 1 year of hire:
  National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
