General Manager – Aerospace Products
Our client is seeking a senior aerospace leader to take full ownership of a high-growth manufacturing site focused on advanced power, sensing, and safety technologies. This role blends technical credibility with customer-facing leadership, driving new product innovation, market expansion, and long-term business growth in a fast-moving, highly regulated aerospace environment. The ideal candidate brings strategic vision, commercial acumen, and a collaborative leadership style.
This role is onsite in Milwaukie, Oregon.
General Manager – Aerospace Products Responsibilities- Own full site P&L performance and lead strategic growth initiatives across a large aerospace manufacturing operation.
- Drive business development, customer engagement, and new program capture across commercial and defense aerospace markets.
- Lead next-generation product development, engineering strategy, and new product introduction to support long-term growth.
- Provide executive-level leadership across engineering, program management, supply chain, finance, and production teams.
- Represent the site with customers, regulatory bodies, and industry partners while maintaining strong compliance and quality standards.
- Establish long-term market, pricing, and technology strategies aligned to evolving aerospace customer needs.
- Foster a high-trust, collaborative culture that attracts, develops, and retains top technical and leadership talent.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within aerospace or a closely related regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proven success in business development, technical sales, or customer-facing leadership within aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong background in new product development, engineering-driven innovation, and program execution.
- Demonstrated financial and strategic leadership, including full P&L responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree required; an Engineering degree is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Professional, collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across customers, partners, and internal teams.
