Overview

. In this role, you’ll support the transportation department with light accounting duties, data reconciliation, expense validation, and administrative coordination. You’ll help maintain accurate records across multiple systems, contribute to cross-functional communication, and ensure smooth day-to-day logistics operations.
Some of your duties may include:
- Reconcile payables invoices and apply correct General Ledger (GL) codes.
- Match invoices with purchase receipts to validate transactions.
- Review and validate fuel and hotel transactions for accuracy.
- Manage Accounts Receivable billing processes.
- Assist with collections and monitor aging reports.
- Make travel arrangements for transportation staff as needed.
- Prepare and submit driver expenses for approval.
- Maintain and update Comdata card records.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across departments and with external vendors.
- Excellent problem-solving and account reconciliation skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently with speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel and Outlook.
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of accounting, administrative, or related experience.
