A leading defense industry distribution company is conducting a confidential search for a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate to join its Milwaukee operations team. This role is at the heart of warehouse logistics—ensuring that products are received accurately, stored properly, and shipped on time to meet customer demands in a safety- and quality-focused environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming products, inspect shipments for accuracy and damage, and properly store materials.
Pick, package, and prepare orders for shipment or customer pick-up.
Verify all shipping and receiving documentation to prevent inventory errors.
Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) after passing required operator exams.
Assist customers at the counter as needed and provide excellent service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Follow standard operating procedures for freight claims, returns, and inventory control.
Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED,
or six months of warehouse experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Vantage Clear Certification (or equivalent U.S. defense-industry compliance credential) required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Effective communication, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Must pass substance-abuse screening and powered equipment operator exam.
