Position Summary

Responsible for tasks in relation to picking, packing and shipping direct‑to‑consumer orders and supporting small parcel shipments, utilizing an RF scanner and various computer shipping software.

SHIFT DETAILS

Day Shift: Monday through Friday; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

STARTING WAGES

All shifts:
Base Rate $16.00 – $18.00 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect merchandise to ensure only quality products are used to complete the order.
  • Meet production, quality, and accuracy levels as established by the business unit; attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Select food and/or accessory products to fill customer orders completely and accurately.
  • Load and unload packages off the packing line and stack them on pallets; utilize computer system and high‑volume conveyor line to pack and prepare daily shipments using UPS, Fed Ex, or other shipping software applications, including necessary paperwork, shipping labels, and tracking information.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance; work extended hours as required by operational needs.
  • Flexibility to work in other areas and departments as needed; must be able to cross‑train in other departmental areas.
  • Maintain a clean workplace to avoid tripping hazards or other accidents; follow all food safety policies and procedures, including performing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments and related activities as directed.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following facility and company safety guidelines; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of related warehouse experience, preferred.
  • Voice picking (Vocollect)/RF scanner experience, preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, required.
  • Ability to count and perform basic math.
  • Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds; able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • The warehouse is a non‑climate‑controlled facility. The outside temperature generally reflects the inside temperature with little air circulation. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust.
  • Must be able to wear safety glasses, safety vest, and any other personal protective equipment as required for the facility/work area (i.e., gloves, safety shoes).
