About the role

As a Sr. Java Full Stack Developer
, you will make an impact by building, enhancing, and maintaining software applications that support key initiatives within the Insurance domain. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work closely with product owners, architects, and other developers to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.

• Develop and maintain full‑stack application components using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to technical feasibility assessments.
• Perform hands‑on coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to support both new development and production stability.
• Collaborate with team members on application enhancements, integrations, and performance improvements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and apply best practices to improve code quality and development efficiency.

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Proficiency with at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React
  , Vue
  , or Angular

• Experience working with APIs
  , system integrations, and microservices‑based applications.
• Knowledge of relational databases, including SQL and PostgreSQL
  .
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate within an agile team environment.

• Experience with Liferay

• Exposure to Control‑M or similar scheduling/orchestration tools.
• Understanding of Life & Annuities Insurance or other financial services systems.
• Familiarity with cloud environments or containerization tools.
• Interest in continuous learning and exploring new technologies.
