About the role
As a Sr. Java Full Stack Developer
, you will make an impact by building, enhancing, and maintaining software applications that support key initiatives within the Insurance domain. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work closely with product owners, architects, and other developers to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain full‑stack application components using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to technical feasibility assessments.
- Perform hands‑on coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to support both new development and production stability.
- Collaborate with team members on application enhancements, integrations, and performance improvements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply best practices to improve code quality and development efficiency.

What you need to have to be considered- Experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
- Proficiency with at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React
, Vue
, or Angular
. - Experience working with APIs
, system integrations, and microservices‑based applications. - Knowledge of relational databases, including SQL and PostgreSQL
. - Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate within an agile team environment.
- Experience with Liferay
. - Exposure to Control‑M or similar scheduling/orchestration tools.
- Understanding of Life & Annuities Insurance or other financial services systems.
- Familiarity with cloud environments or containerization tools.
- Interest in continuous learning and exploring new technologies.
