Role Description

This full-time, on-site role is based in Milwaukee, WI. The Youth Service Specialist will work closely with adolescent residents, providing guidance, support, and care in alignment with the organization's trauma-informed approach. This includes supervising daily activities, mentoring and coaching youth, assisting in the development of life skills, ensuring safety and structure, and helping to facilitate therapeutic and educational programs. The specialist will also collaborate with other staff members and maintain clear communication to address the needs and progress of residents.

Qualifications
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively support and mentor youth and collaborate with team members
  • Analytical skills to assess and identify individual needs and assist in creating personalized development plans
  • Basic knowledge or experience in Finance and Sales, which can support the mentoring of practical life skills for residents
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a patient, supportive, and compassionate approach
  • Experience working with youth or in a similar residential program is highly preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field is an advantage
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
