What is the purpose of our Supported Parenting Program?The Supported Parenting Program is a family support, home visitation program which helps prepare, strengthen, and support at‑risk families. Our program promotes positive parenting and healthy interactions between parent and child as they interact on a day‑to‑day basis. Our goal is to aid parents in providing a safe, loving environment for their children to grow and thrive.
What will I do as a Family Support Case Manager?As a Family Support Case Manager, you will provide in‑home visiting services to parent(s), first‑time parent(s), and those with children will create an individualized plan to help parent(s) develop confidence in caring for their children and building self‑esteem.
The Family Support Case Manager provides education about child growth and development as well as offers support and reinforcement for healthy parenting skills. You will also have the opportunity to offer assistance to all members of the family to resolve the tensions and discord which can arise about co‑parenting, visitation, discipline, etc.
Salary Range$45,000
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, or related field required, such as:
Human Development and Family Studies, Human Services, or Sociology. - 2 years of previous experience in family services or health care, preferably focusing on prenatal and child development is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in collaborative teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a talent for handling confidential matters efficiently and discreetly.
