HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Lead in the Manufacturing industry in the Milwaukee, WI area!

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $40.00/hr plus $3/hr shift differential

Shift: 3rd (6pm - 6am) 2-2-3 schedule

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Lead Technician for the night shift, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical support to the maintenance team.
  • Co-manage the facility's Fire/Security systems and oversee general facility maintenance, including HVAC, snow removal, and landscaping.
  • Perform advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting, and maintain various electrical controls and automation systems.
  • Install and repair machinery including belt, chain, and sprocket conveyors, as well as electric motors ranging from fractional hp to 600 hp (including servo-driven).
  • Wire 460/230-volt 3-phase motors and maintain an expert understanding of servo, hydraulic, and pneumatically actuated equipment.
  • Participate in maintenance initiatives, safety compliance monitoring, and daily preventive/predictive maintenance practices like lubrication and rigging.
  • Facilitate smooth handoffs between shifts by clearly communicating events and resolving technical roadblocks.
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma Preferred.
  • Technical or Vocational degree with demonstrated equivalent experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage shift operations effectively.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • knowledge of contractors, starters, motors, and motor controls.
  • Proficient in pipe fitting, bearing removal/installation, and the use of stationary shop equipment.
  • Ability to read layout plans, blueprints, and technical drawings for machinery installation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate electronic work order systems.
  • Willingness to work various hours based on production needs and training schedules.
