We are a leading company in the Engineering industry, and we are seeking a Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment, ensuring they are always in optimal working condition.Respond to emergency breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.Collaborate with the engineering team to understand machinery operation and maintenance requirements.Document all maintenance work for record‑keeping and future reference.Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to during maintenance work.Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and maintenance techniques.Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Engineering industry or a similar role.Strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and practices.Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Excellent problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.Strong communication and teamwork skills.A degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.Certifications in relevant areas would be an added advantage.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.If you are a dedicated, reliable, and experienced Maintenance Technician, eager to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
