Overview
A day in the life. Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you’ll keep our manufacturing operations moving by tackling both maintenance and production electrical work. Your mornings may start with a safety check and a review of work orders, followed by laying out new circuits to code, wiring a control panel from a schematic, or troubleshooting a stubborn fault on a piece of new or refurbished equipment.
Throughout the day you’ll collaborate with assembly and engineering teams, bend EMT or RMC conduit with precision, and document fixes at the workstation.

- Lay out and install wiring circuits in accordance with applicable codes.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and machine drawings; wire machines and panels accordingly.
- Partner effectively with assembly and engineering in a team environment; communicate clearly.
- Move, push, pull, or lift moderately heavy items as needed.
- Work at heights on ladders, scissor lifts, and articulating lifts.
- Bend and install conduit (EMT, RMC) accurately; build clean, high‑quality panels with attention to detail.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues on new and used equipment in-house.
- Juggle multiple priorities with strong organization and meticulous detail.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Solid knowledge of electrical wiring and conduit methods, with strong troubleshooting ability.
- Skilled in conduit bending (EMT, RMC) and reading electrical machine drawings/schematics.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and diagnostics.

Education and experience- Journeyman or Master Electrician license; or
- Five to seven years of related experience; or
- Ten to twelve years of progressively responsible related experience; or
- A comparable combination of education and experience.
- Preferred:
Experience with PLCs, control systems, and root cause analysis.
- Equipment troubleshooting; facilities maintenance experience.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills; electrical systems diagnostics and repair.
- PCB components familiarity; preventive maintenance and inspection.
- Electrical installation, repair, and maintenance and repair skills.
- National Electrical Code (NEC) knowledge.
- Conduit systems:
Rigid Metal Conduit (RMT), Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT), Intermediate Metal Conduit (IMC). - Industrial electrical experience; experience in a manufacturing environment and a foundry environment.
- Crane operation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Shot Blast Machine
