Building Maintenance, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Property Prep, LLC is an established maintenance provider to the residential and commercial sectors. We service everything from single family homes to 250,000 sq. ft. commercial properties. We have two immediate openings for senior maintenance techs.
Examples of Minimum Skills We Would Expect Someone Has:Plumbing
- Change a faucet, vanity, and toilet
- Repair a toilet, faucet, or Sloan valve
- Cap a plumbing line using a sharkbite or sweating a cap
- Finding leaks and repairing them
- Able to use a gas detector to find a leak
- Ability to swap out a fixture, light switch, or outlet
- Ability to change a ballast if taught
- Ability to change light bulbs with appropriate replacement
- Ability to change furnace filters flowing the right way
- Ability to change a thermostat, install a new fuse, and troubleshoot basic issues
- Ability to bleed radiators
- Ability to patch a hole in drywall or plaster
- Ability to paint a room in a workman-like manner
- General repairs
- Installing an entry, interior, or screen door in a workman-like manner
- Ability to change or install a door knob and deadbolt in both residential and commercial settings
- Ability to fix a window or replace a piece of glass
- Ability to run a clean bead of caulk
Above all, we are in the customer service business. We remind all of our employees that they are representing our company and it must be in a favorable way. We expect that all of our employees are able to pass a drug test, have a clean driving record, wear a clean uniform to work, and behave like you would expect someone to if they were working in your house.
We require our employees have their own hand tools and a smart phone that they know how to use. We provide a new work van and major tools to all employees.
