We are seeking a full-time Facilities Technician. We offer competitive pay with benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain work assignments from Facilities Manager, contact person requesting repairs and determine type of repairs required.
  • Respond to and complete work orders in facilities/MIS help desk.
  • Perform property tending duties such as grass cutting, weed elimination, snow shoveling, parking lot clean up while awaiting assignments.
  • Perform repairs to building fixtures.
  • Perform plumbing repairs.
  • Perform electrical repairs.
  • Perform spot roof and parking lot patching.
  • Replace HVAC filters, motors, belts.
  • Must be available to be on-call rotation after hours.
  • Move assorted office equipment, desks, shelves, and tables.
  • Run and maintain all powered equipment, i.e., weed whacker, hedge trimmer, snow blower and leaf blower.
  • Check operation of company vehicles and arrange for gas and regular maintenance.
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical aptitude acquired through vocational school, outside activities or job experience.
  • 1-3 years of healthcare or office building maintenance.
  • Ability to use personal computer, including Windows, Word, Excel and other software packages.
  • Ability to work safely.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must work overtime as needed, in addition, required to work on-call every 2-3 weeks.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license and Class "C" license required and current auto insurance.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English helpful, but not required.
  • Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of NFPA codes and other city ordinances.
  • Knowledge of Emergency back-up Generators.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems, solder copper, repair Sloan valves.
  • Strong background in electrical systems, able to troubleshoot all electrical panels, installation of new outlets, motors, and lighting systems.
