Technician II Security – VTI Security (A Paladin Technologies Company)

Join us as a Technician II Security to provide efficient and high-quality installations related to integrated security systems.

• Install, terminate and test equipment per specifications and applicable building/electrical codes.
• Assist in design and other tasks as assigned while delivering on Paladin commitments.
• Work with Field Engineers on startup to ensure system compliance.
• Communicate daily with Installation Supervisor on delays, requirements, and job status.
• Ensure closeout, turnover to client and service department.
• Repair, restore, and test all systems per specifications and codes.
• Maintain accurate written record keeping and submit on time.
• Maintain professional licensing as required by state/local jurisdictions.
• Support, lead, and mentor team members.
• Design systems and layouts.
• Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism.
• Lead projects at a site level and manage a team of junior technicians as necessary.
• May require shift work as needed.

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment screening.
• Minimum 2 years working in the electronic field with daily use of AC/DC theory.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of integrated security, communications, and network infrastructure.
• Experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of security systems.
